John Carpenter’s The Thing (1982) is a classic horror thriller movie starring Kurt Russell as MacReady and Keith David as Childs. The Thing takes place in a remote area of Antarctica where a research team encounters an alien creature who is able to replicate humans and animals.
The Thing has been given a new 4K remaster from Universal which looks top-notch with excellent picture quality but only a handful of extras. The Thing 4K version has been released in two versions with a standard ‘classic’ cover and a new cover design for the Best Buy SteelBook exclusive.
