The new batch of figures are Ralph and Vanellope from the film Wreck-It Ralph, Anna and Elsa (2 pack) from the film Frozen and Rapunzel from the film Tangled. TURBO is a new feature length film by Dreamworks Animation. We had a chance to check out an early preview of the movie with a general audience in attendance. Turbo is about a garden snail who is teased by his community, loves racing and is accidentally given a speed boost when he intakes a bunch of NOS from a car. The movie stars Ryan Reynolds (as Turbo) who downplays the voice acting this time around and is mostly upstaged by Samuel L. Jackson who plays Whiplash one of the other racing snails.
What do you do when you are asked to be one of the premier launch titles for new Xbox One? If you’re Turn 10 Studios, you blow the doors off every car you put in the game. In Forza Motorsport 5, Turn 10 looks to do more than just race to the finish line, on [...]
A few years back Codemasters’ GRID was a new racing IP in the long line of racing games the studio has put out over the last decade. The Codemasters name has been synonymous with racing for years now (with the occasional foray into other genres with games like Operation Flashpoint), so when the studio announces [...]
The Microsoft Press Conference started off with a bang in Konami's new trailer and gameplay for Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain. It was the first time we got to see the open world gameplay in a desert setting with many characters filling in the ranks -- also Snake rides a horse! Unfortunately we [...]
Overall the game is not for everyone. If you enjoy games like Mario Kart, car combat like Vigilante 8, and don't mind a fixed camera and top-down view this game should be enjoyable as long as you don't put too much stock in the story itself or over-anime'd characters. At its core Fuel Overdose is a competent battle-racer but comes up a bit short on overall fun value and the ability to retain your attention longer than a few races at a time; feel free to check out the videos of the game on COIN-OP.TV and make your own call!
Sony’s recent unveiling of the PlayStation 4 at the PS4 Press Conference in NYC caused the Internet to explode with glee, grief, anger, confusion and shock. It also left me with sore legs due to its length (It finished in just over 2 hours). Now, you can watch the press conference on your own or [...]
Grid 2 promises to be an immersive experience for the racing video game enthusiast. It looks sharp and crisp and will offer players plenty of options like street racing, road racing and circuit racing - the developers of Grid 2 want this title to have multiple aspects of all racing fused into one game. Grid [...]
Top Hand Rodeo Tour is all about effort. You can immediately tell that SFC Rodeo Games really put in a solid effort into making a Kinect game that put you in the saddle and allow you to experience what it’s really like to take the reins to earn the title “Top Hand.” There are five [...]
Need For Speed Most Wanted is an adrenaline rush for racing enthusiasts. The game is fast - the game is fun. Probably our favorite thing to do in the game was cause havoc on police all over town - smashing through road blocks and swerving into cop cars is simply satisfying. Need For Speed Most Wanted features an [...]
The word "immersive" is thrown around a lot when discussing video games. Can the game suspend your disbelief so you accept you are actually in the game? F1 2012 takes things one step further and says, you find the best way for you to play, and we’ll tailor the game around you. In this way, [...]
With super easy pick up and play controls and very user friendly non-punishing arcade style, Jeremy McGrath's Offroad is overall, an enjoyable experience. The tracks are well constructed with nice graphical quality leaving little room for confusion as to where to go. It might seem like an odd statement but if you've ever played a [...]
We’ve all got our prejudices, and anyone that tells you different is a liar. I really, reeeally, wanted to dislike DiRT: Showdown, the new arcade-style racing game published by Codemasters and developed by Codemasters Southam. Ever since Codemasters released that train wreck of a third person shooter Damnation back in 2009, I have taken all [...]
We all want it. But sadly BioShock Infinite has been delayed again. In a message to the fans Ken Levine stated the reason for the delay as... "BioShock Infinite is a very big game, and we’re doing things that no one has ever done in a first-person shooter. We had a similar experience with the [...]
Trials Evolution is a physics-based action sports racing game that combines the addictive nature of early Tony Hawk Pro-Skater titles with the adrenaline-fueled exploits of motorsports and X Games legend Travis Pastrana. Trials Evolution isn’t the game that players deserve, but the one we need right now to cleanse our palette of the mediocrity that [...]
I always begin my reviews with a lead in, usually posing a question, but in honor of the illegal street racing theme of Ridge Racer Unbounded I'll break from that rule. Ridge Racer Unbounded is a very good arcade style racer with a lot going for it. It reaches back to the time of Crusin' [...]

Fans of racing games and driving simulators have seen graphics, realism and sound effects taken to the 'nex gen' level. F1 2011 (from Codemasters) strives to offer players a chance to live the Formula One racing spirit with its realism but and even novice players will most likely be turned off by the game's lack [...]
