The highly anticipated squad-based tactics video game Marvel’s Midnight Suns is due on December 2, 2022, and it’s clear the developers Firaxis Games are ready for us to get our hands on it. Prior to the game’s launch, a series of five videos will be released on YouTube to set the stage for the game’s stories.
Importantly for me as a long-time comics fan, I was impressed by the developer at the panel and his obvious love of the stories. He referenced many stories from the 90s, some of which are quite obscure, and has a clear passion for the characters he is working with. While that is by no means a guarantee of the game’s quality, it does give me confidence that the developers really do care about this title and that it is not just a cash grab. This remains one of my most anticipated titles in 2022, Disney or otherwise.
Marvel’s Midnight Suns will launch on December 2 for Windows PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation® 5.
