The Flag Of Iron is a classic 1980 Shaw Brothers martial arts kung fu movie from director Chang Cheh. The movie stars a handful of the Venom Mob like Philip Kwok, Feng Lu, and Chiang Sheng in an action-packed masterpiece. This movie is a great showcase for Philip Kwok as he gets to show off his moves and abilities fighting off the 10 Assassins that were sent after him while he was exiled.
88 Films has issued a brand new Blu-ray release of The Flag Of Iron which comes with a brand new colorful slipcase cover, poster, and full-color booklet with an essay by Andrew Graves. Additional special features on this disc are lacking but there is an audio commentary with Asian Cinema Experts Mike Leeder and Arne Venema. The Flag Of Iron Blu-ray from 88 Films is available in both Region A and Region B.
