Activision invited a handful of media journalists into their Treyarch headquarters to get their hands on the brand new Call of Duty: Black Ops ‘First Strike’ DLC map pack.  First Strike is five new multiplayer maps called Berlin Wall, Stadium, Discovery, Kowloon and the new Zombie Level Ascension.

Kowloon offered up the most diversity and exploration as it contained many places to hide, jump, fall and get up close and personal with the opposition.  Treyarch’s team including Mark Lamia, Dan Bunting and Josh Olin were all present to witness the excitement.  Also on hand were NFL football players Arian Foster (RB Houston Texans) and Maurice Jones-Drew (RB Jacksonville Jaguars) who participated in a ‘grudge match’.

Video game journalists and professional football players might not stack up well against hardcore Call of Duty players but at the end of the day we all got to experience these new vibrant and dynamic maps which will help advance the online experience and champion Call of Duty: Black Ops into 2011.
