We had a chance to check out Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled recently at a private media demo at the Activision headquarters in Los Angeles, CA. Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is a revamped/remastered version of the original Crash Team Racing (1999) which came out for the original PlayStation. Crash Team Racing features Crash Bandicoot, Coco Bandicoot, Doctor Neo Cortex and many others from the Crash universe – it was originally developed by Naughty Dog and the new version is being handled by Beenox.

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled will be releasing on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on June 21, 2019, in a standard version for $39.99 and Nitros Oxide version which includes already available villain Nitros Oxide as a playable character (and other goodies) for $59.99. Nitros Oxide will be an unlockable character in the standard version of the game.

Crash Team Racing was a hugely popular kart racing video game due to its handling, cast of characters and overall fun. The remastered version definitely retains the same amount of charm and fun with newly enhanced graphics and sound effects. Local split screen is available in Crash Team Racing and this time around players will be able to compete against each other online.
