Bruce Lee was a martial arts actor who was just on the verge of a legendary career in Hollywood and Hong Kong when his life ended tragically and mysteriously. This left a void in cinema for production companies to cash in on his popularity so they used actors who resembled Bruce Lee and changed their names to match his and also used similar movie titles. This resulted in the rise of what is commonly referred to as ‘Bruceploitation‘ with many low budget movies being rushed out trying to capitalize on Bruce Lee’s legacy.
Severin Films will be releasing a two volume box set of Bruceploitation films along with the Award Winning Documentary ‘Enter The Clones of Bruce‘ from 2023 with interviews and behind the scene escapades from most of the actors who portrayed Bruce Lee in these films.
