As excitement builds for the upcoming TRON LEGACY film – let us not forget the original TRON movie from 1982 and the amazing score from Wendy Carlos!  Our friends over at 8 BIT WEAPON (who make creative and fun chip-tune music) put together some clever remixes of some of the original TRON music – which like most of their stuff is free to download!

From their press release: The remixes are based off of the amazing original score by Wendy Carlos for the original 1982 film Tron. We spent a lot of time cramming as much detail as possible into this short collection of remixes. We also included the two original Game Boy versions that we competed 1st using our modified “Tron Boy” before expanding the project to other computers and video game consoles. The collection’s sound palette uses the following systems: Commodore 64, Nintendo NES, Nintendo Game Boy, Apple II, and Atari 2600.
