Los Angeles did NOT have the privilege of a Wizard World in 2009 due to economy set-backs – so we were eager to see what the Anaheim show in 2010 would bring to the table. The three day event advertised famous celebs in attendance like Stan Lee, William Shatner, Brent Spiner, Levar Burton and more however none of them were present on Sunday when we attended the convention. We are happy to report that by Sunday the following celebrity cars were still present and available for photo opportunities – The DeLorean (from Back the the Future), The Mad Max Interceptor and The Batmobile (this car didn’t allow pictures – sorry!).
For those looking to browse comics, art and anime there was plenty to see. Many veteran actors, wrestling stars and cartoon personalities were present and eager to meet their fans. Gone were video game, large displays and the overall ‘wow’ factor. If you live in Los Angeles then chances are you’re spoiled by many fabulous conventions year-round so it’s up to Wizard World to come back strong in 2011! (Photos: BlankLogo Photography)

Great times at Wizard World Anaheim. We’ll have to go the whole weekend next time. I think it will get bigger and bigger, given its location.
Here’s my recap of the event: http://www.blacknerdcomedy.com/?p=5851
