Torchlight II has finally received its release date. One of the most anticipated game announcements to be held at PAX this year, Runic Games’ President Travis Baldree dropped the September 20th release date for the fans on the game’s official forums. He posted last night on the forums as a thank you to a community that has been patiently waiting – I’ve been checking Steam and my email constantly over the last month or so myself.

We look forward to getting this into your hands!”
Just three short weeks until we all get our hands on the sequel to one of the biggest standouts of 2009. I loved the original Torchlight and could not be more excited to get in there and play. Stay tuned to COIN-OP TV for more on Torchlight II and all the PAX 2012 coverage you can handle.
