‘The Shaolin Avengers‘ (Invincible Kung Fu Brothers) is a Shaw Brothers martial arts kung fu film from 1976 co-directed by Chang Cheh and stars Alexander Fu Sheng, Chi Kuan-chun, Yan Tsan Tang, Johnny Wang and more! ‘The Shaolin Avengers’ was released on Blu-ray as part of the Shout Factory Shaw Brothers Classics Volume 3 Collection.
‘The Shaolin Avengers’ follows three fighters who team up to fight bad guys, told through scenes from their past while they’re in a big fight. This movie is a new take on another film called ‘Men from the Monastery.’
The best parts are when Fu Sheng fights Beardy, and when Chi Kuan-chun gets revenge in a gambling house. Even though the big group fight isn’t as exciting, kung fu fans will still enjoy watching this Shaw Brothers film.
