Bobbleheads and baseball go hand in hand and if you have ever attended a Major League Baseball game regularly then chances are you have one in your possession.  Konami‘s new MLB Bobblehead Baseball Pros is out now for download on the Xbox 360 Arcade and to help celebrate the occasion we spent the day last week at an authentic Los Angeles Dodgers game, ate hot dogs and played the game first-hand.  This weekend I made sure to install the full version of MLB Bobblehead Baseball Pros on my Xbox 360 so I had something to do while staying home all weekend avoiding ‘Carmegeddon’ (the closure of the 405 freeway).

MLB Bobblehead Baseball Pros features cute animation of baseball characters in ‘bobblehead form’ – you can even see the spring under their head if you look closely.  The game features a variety of single player and multiplayer fun and will appeal more to the casual gamer then hardcore player who’s used to indulging in the ‘serious’ baseball games.  The game features all the teams and baseball fields to play in — we were able to master pitching more then hitting.  On defense we would have loved a way to switch characters when fielding a ball and on offense a way to change the camera angle.

In a world dominated by high priced games – there’s something special about an XBL game that fits into a budget and contains enough punch for the weekend.  MLB Bobblehead Baseball Pros has a demo available now and worth checking it out when you have the time!
