Skylanders Giants will have its first adventure pack expansion by way of Gamestop called Golden Dragonfire Cannon Battle Pack.  Details are pretty slim thus far but from the packaging it appears to include series 2 (reposed) version of Chop Chop, Shroomboom (a new life element) and the Cannon itself which will presumably be used to unlock the new area in Skylanders Giants.

The Golden Dragonfire Cannon Battle Pack is being hailed as a ‘Gamestop Exclusive’ but fans of the Skylanders series know that hardly anything from the franchise is ever an exclusive as we saw re-issues of both Whirlwind and Drill Sergeant (former exclusives) in new packaging.

Skylanders Giants is set to release on multiple platforms on Oct 21, 2012 in the U.S.
