I’m all about the resurgence of fighting games these past few years, and the latest trailer for the upcoming 2D fighter Skullgirls gives me great hope that the best is still to come. This trailer spotlights the fighter Painwheel, an innocent enough girl named Carol who was implanted with parasites and infused with experimental blood to convert her into a near demonic being drawing upon her pain for the power to punish anyone in her path.

If the voices don’t get to Painwheel or you first, be sure to check her and the rest of the frantic femme fatales known as the Skullgirls out when the game releases for Xbox Live and PlayStation Network in 2012!
