Shuji Suzuki labels himself a ‘clayer’ but in my book he’s one of the coolest Japanese artists out there and worth taking notice! Shuji sent over 100 figures to be showcased as part of the ‘i am 8-bit’ exhibition currently going on at Gallery 1988 in Hollywood, California. If you are anywhere near – then I recommend checking out the show! Because Mr. Suzuki’s work is so tiny I decided to take some video with my tiny photo camera. I love those sculptures, certainly a hilight of the show for me. Also the artist plays chiptune music as Plamo, so a great man all around.
