COIN-OP TV interviews Martin de Ronde, one of the Founders and Director of the OneBigGame video game charity initiative.  OneBigGame was founded in 2006 by a number of videogame industry veterans, who were looking to use the creative and collective power of the videogames industry for other purposes than making a profit.  This interview also takes an exclusive early look at the game CHIME which is the first title release from OneBigGame.

We got some hand’s on time with CHIME after the interview and were highly impressed!  The game looks and plays like a block puzzler – think Tetris or Lumines but with musical elements.  A bar scrolls across the screen from left to right and it’s up to you to match puzzle pieces and cover areas on the grid.  The more area you cover – the more the song and notes will play.  There are various challenges to the game and feature artists like Moby, Paul Hartnoll and Philip Glass.  OneBigGame is off to a good start with a fun and smart casual game in CHIME and best of all – proceeds go to charity!
