NBA 2K17 will be launching September 20 2016 but anxious fans can get their hands on gameplay by playing the NBA 2K17 The Prelude which acts as a preview of the upcoming video game. We played through the NBA 2K17 The Prelude which is a handful of college matches and will allow you to customize your character and practice some of the new controls implemented into the game.
NBA 2K17’s The Prelude taps into the story/campaign of the game called MyCAREER and comes complete with cut scenes introduced by NBA All-Star Kobe Bryant and noted actor Michael B. Jordan. In this special preview you can see how well your draft status is tracking based on your playing caliber and ability. It feels as if the controls for NBA 2K17 have been improved upon a bit as for the passing game which now using three of the face buttons and dribbling crossovers seem easier than ever to master. NBA 2K17 The Prelude has been an excellent way to download (PS4/XBO) and test a new game that is not a beta or a demo but something incorporated into the final release of the game.
The NBA 2K17 Standard Edition will be available in both digital and physical formats for $59.99 on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®3 computer entertainment systems, and Windows PC platforms on September 20. The NBA 2K17 Kobe Bryant Legend Edition will be available in digital and physical formats for $79.99 on Xbox One and PlayStation®4 system. Also available for pre-order is the NBA 2K17 Kobe Bryant Legend Edition Gold offering fans the ultimate value at $99.99 with all of the regular NBA 2K17 Legend Edition contents plus bonus items.
