Major League Gaming (MLG) is a big deal – trust us! More then $1 million dollars will be awarded throughout the year to MLG professional gamers. Thousands of spectators and gamers participate in their ‘Pro Circuit Competition’ which takes place in numerous locations across the United States.
MLG Anaheim 2011 eSported the games Call of Duty: Black Ops (PS3), Halo: Reach (Xbox 360) and Starcraft II (PC). Last year’s MLG included Madden which was absent this time around. The vendor booths were spread out more yet main event stages were jammed into the back corner – making it difficult to get around. The MLG has been able to sustain a dominant force in competitive gaming over the years, allowing gamers a chance to make a living doing what they love to do. We’re anxious to see competitive video gaming elevated into the mainstream and were completely surprised by the decision to run this tournament the same weekend as EVO2K – the largest annual fighting game tournament.
