‘To Kill With Intrigue Review‘ from 1977 directed by Lo Wei and stars Jackie Chan. ‘To Kill With Intrigue Review’ was recently released on Blu-ray from Shout Factory as part of The Jackie Chan Collection Volume One.
‘To Kill With Intrigue Review’ contains a mysterious story about an old enemy seeking revenge on Jackie Chan’s martial arts teacher. After that, it follows Jackie and his female friend as they run from assassins.
The plot gets confusing pretty fast, but there are some interesting costumes and set designs to appreciate. Jackie does a lot of hand-to-hand fighting, and his skills and strong kicks are shown off throughout the movie. There’s one really good fight scene with Jackie fighting three assassins about halfway through the movie.
The second half of the movie is mostly random events, including Jackie being trained by a female martial artist. The film looks like it was made on a low budget, and some of the effects feel amateur. Overall, it’s not very memorable and not one of Jackie’s best
