The Microsoft store in Los Angeles hosted their Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary midnight launch party this week to celebrate ten years of Halo glory. Over 150 Halo fans came out to the event to preview the game and pick up Halo CEA as early as possible. Energy drinks and pizza were given out to everyone in attendance as well as vouchers for the raffle which included cool toys and brand new Xbox 360 units. Frank O’Connor from the Halo franchise development team was present signing and interacting with fans (pictured).
Fellow gaming outlets were there covering like ‘Stuff We Like’ who were broadcasting live from the event and talking to people waiting to get their copy. Overall things went smoothly – look for a more comprehensive review of Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary coming shortly!
