Free Video Game Stuff This Week April 9 2017:
Dishonored 2 (PS4, XBO, PC) first three levels of the video game from Bethesda and Arkane Studios. Play as either Corvo Attano or Emily Kaldwin and if you decide to upgrade to the full version from this extended demo your saves will carry over to the full version.
Dropzone (PC) is moving to a free-to-play model from Sparkypants Studios. Dropzone is a PC real-time strategy MOBA video game from ex-developers of Rise of Nations and Civilization 2.
Xbox Games with Gold Free Video Game Stuff This Week April 9 2017:
Ryse Son of Rome (XBO) which was originally an Xbox One launch game features brutal action set in the late Roman Empire. You play as Marius Titus who sets out to avenge the death of his family and defend the honor of Rome. Ryse Son of Rome is available free to Xbox Gold members until April 30, 2017.
Evolve Ultimate Edition (XBO) is available free to Xbox One Gold members now until April 15, 2017. Evolve features competitive action in a 4 versus 1 hunting experience where you team up with your squad to take down giant monsters.
Darksiders (XBO) was originally released on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in 2011 and is a stylized third-person action game like God of War. In Darksiders you play as War who is one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse caught in an epic struggle between Heaven and Hell. Darksiders will be free to download until April 15, 2017.
PlayStation Plus Free Video Game Stuff This Week April 9 2017:
Drawn to Death (PS4) launched on April 4, 2017, and is a competitive multiplayer third-person shooter from veteran game developer David Jaffe. Drawn to Death has an interesting visual style which takes place in the imagination of a high school kid’s notebook.
Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime (PS4) received praise when it was released last year and is available to download free this month to PlayStation Plus members. Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime is a co-op interactive puzzle game with up to four players but you can also play solo if you want to.
Invizimals: The Lost Kingdom (PS3) is a third-person adventure game where you play as Hiro who is a young explorer who discovers a magical portal that teleports him to the Lost Kingdom. Use your abilities to solve puzzles and battle against enemies on the PlayStation 3.
Alien Rage Extended Edition (PS3) is a first-person science fiction action game in the style of DOOM. Alien Rage didn’t wow critics when it was initially released but now you can check it out for free on the PlayStation 3 with a PlayStation Plus membership.
10 Second Ninja (PS Vita/crossbuy on PS4) is a platformer which gives you 10 seconds to solve each level. The pace is frenetic and you’ll die often but it has an interesting gimmick that may keep you hooked or turn you away depending on your attention span.
Curses ‘n Chaos (PS Vita/crossbuy on PS4) is a 2D arena brawler video game with a heavy focus on 2 player co-op action. This game is a throwback to 8-bit arcade style graphics and classic arcade games like Ghosts N Goblins.
