Disney+, the new streaming service from Disney, is launching just days away on November 12, 2019. The new video-on-demand service will have have a massive back catalog of previously released movies and TV shows and will also have a handful of new exclusive content as well in the form of new series, movies, and documentaries.
Disney+ New Series on Launch:
- The Mandalorian – which is a Star Wars spinoff show starring Pedro Pascal.
- High School Musical The Musical The Series is a 10 episode scripted show set in the High School Music universe.
- Forky Asks A Question is an animated collection of 10 shorts hosted by Forky from Toy Story 4 fame.
- SparkShorts will be a variety of Pixar short-form films.
Disney+ New Movies on Launch:
- Lady and the Tramp is a live-action remake of the 1955 animated classic.
- Noelle is a Christmas movie starring Anna Kendrick and Bill Hader.
Disney+ New Documentaries on Launch:
- The World According To Jeff Goldblum will follow Jeff Goldblum doing funny things in real-world scenarios.
- Marvel’s Hero Project will show positive changes being made in communities.
- Encore! features Kristen Bell who will assemble former castmates of high school musicals to perform.
- The Imagineering Story will show how Disney Theme parks are made.
