Capcom shows off Monster Hunter Tri at the Tar Pits

Robert Welkner and Hailey Bright from COIN-OP TV got to spend some hands-on time with Monster Hunter Tri at the La Brea Tar Pits where Capcom was there showing off their new game which drops at the end of April. Since the La Brea Tar Pits are famous for historic dinasours and tourists it was only fitting that Capcom rope together the top gaming journalists in town and treat them to a tasty bbq!

Complementing the new creatures and quests that Monster Hunter Tri introduces to the series, hunters will also have the benefit of new weapons, armor sets and items, including an all new weapon class the SlashAxe and a Torch. My best advice – make sure to pick up the bundle edition that comes with the Wii Classic Controller – much easier to play the game with!
