Larry Bird, Magic Johnson and Michael Jordan are probably the most familiar names to come out of the 1980s decade of classic NBA basketball super-stars but this trailer from NBA2K12 reminds us that there were many other ‘greats’ from that era as well.

Big men Patrick Ewing, Karl Malone, Hakeem Olajuwon, Kareem  Abdul-Jabbar and Wilt Chamberlain stand tall in their slow motion clips while flashier All-Stars like Dennis Rodman, Jerry West,  Scottie Pippen and James Worthy showcase their signature moves.  We’re not sure how great of a game the final release will be but thus far the marketing on NBA2K12 has been excellent.
