June 10, 2016 – mark your calendars as VOLTRON The Defender of the Universe returns in the form of a new animated series from DreamWorks exclusively on Netflix. DreamWorks Animation held a press conference panel during WonderCon 2016 in which they premiered a trailer for the upcoming Voltron TV Show that showed an all new Voltron formation complete with juicy metallic sound effects and a glimpse at the robot’s fancy new ‘Blazing Sword’.
According to reports the new Voltron show will take the crew and giant robot outside of the confines of one planet to help defend the universe and surrounding planets from evil forces. Details about the new Voltron cast and voice actors are below – we look forward to seeing what becomes of the new cartoon!
