We had a chance to check out The LEGO Movie Videogame which was on the show floor at the San Diego Comic-Con for all the play. The game is a straight adaptation of the movie so the developers were very hush hush on many of the story elements but we were able to capture some awesome gameplay with commentary for you to enjoy!
The LEGO Movie Videogame will release in early 2014 along with the film for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii U, Windows PC, Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita. The LEGO Movie Videogame will feature Emmet, Vitruvius, Lucy and more from the cast of the film.

as far as i know it’s a self contained game
