The Evil Within is a third person survival horror action game developed by Tango Gameworks and Bethesda. The game features protagonist Sebastian and has slow pacing and action much like a good horror film. The Evil Within looks like it has elements from familiar games like the early Resident Evil franchise, The Last Of Us and the original Dead Space.
The Evil Within has great atmosphere and sound effects and the developers purposely kept very little info on the screen to help engage the players within the environment. There are also elements of post-apocalypse and science fiction with a female ghost-like assassin and many monsters who look beyond human.
