The buzz about 4K TVs has been synonymous with the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) for the last couple of years but this time around it was Sony who was  sporting the goods.  At Sony’s CES 2014 press conference Mike Fasulo the new President of Sony Electronics showcased a variety of 4K TVs with Triluminos Display in addition to announcing the new Sony 4K handycam made for consumers.

At the Sony CES press conference – Netflix CEO Reed Hasting appeared on stage to announce that all upcoming original shows for Netflix will be shot in 4K and Sony also announced a new decoder for YouTube to allow 4K streaming.  Other fun things at the event was the showcase of the new Sony ‘Action-Cam’ which is like a GoPro camera but allows you to sync/mesh 5 signals into one and comes with a mount for dogs.  ‘Lifelog App’ was also showcased and appears to be wearable tech accompanied by an app that will display your sleeping, eating and walking habits among other things.
