Arrow Video announced they will be releasing a huge 12 movie collection of classic Shaw Brothers martial arts films from the 1970s and 1980s in a limited edition collectible box set. The list of movies included in the Shawscope Volume One Blu-ray set are King Boxer, The Boxer from Shantung, Five Shaolin Masters, Shaolin Temple, Mighty Peking Man, Challenge of the Masters, Executioners from Shaolin, Chinatown Kid, The Five Venoms, Crippled Avengers, Heroes of the East, and Dirty Ho.
This fantastic box set highlights classic Shaw Brothers martial arts directors like Chang Cheh and Lau Kar-leung along with showcasing excellent movies starring Gordon Liu, Alexander Fu Sheng, and the Venom Mob. Some of the discs will have a brand new 2k transfer and there are tons of new and archived special features along with a 60-page booklet.
