One of the most memorable brawler franchises of the past few years returns as Shank 2 slashes its way onto PSN, PC, and XBLA this February. An over-the-top 2D beat-em-up from EA and Klei Entertainment in the vein of Robert Rodriguez’s mexploitation flick Machete with more guns, chainsaws, and explosives than Danny Trejo could possibly handle,  Shank was a huge hit on consoles and PC and its sequel is shaping up to be just as action packed. Check out what Shank 2 has to offer in the gameplay video below:

With local or online co-op gameplay and more weapons, combos, and precise controls than its predecessor, Shank 2 is slated to arrive on the PlayStation Network and PC in North America on February 7, 2012 for $9.99 USD and on Xbox LIVE Arcade on February 8, 2012 for 800 Microsoft Points. If you’ve ever had the urge for vicious knife play and never had the proper outlet, then Shank 2 just might be the game you’re looking for!
