Nex Machina is a twin-stick shooter for the PlayStation 4 and Windows PC with beautiful visuals and sound. Nex Machina was developed by Housemarque Games who also gave us the surprisingly fun and addictive game Resogun (2013). Nex Machina’s Lead Designer was Harry Krueger who also worked on Resogun and acting as Creative Consultant was Eugene Jarvis who has over 35 years of experience developing video games. Eugene’s trademark gameplay mechanics are present in Nex Machina which deals with an endless supply of swarming aliens and helpless humans in need of saving.

Nex Machina feels much like the ‘Starship Troopers‘ movie video game come to life as you are surrounded by what looks like mechanical bugs who come in all shapes and sizes. Movement on the screen is very fluid and the soundtrack for Nex Machina keeps your blood flowing the entire time. If games like Geometry Wars Retro Evolved or the classic Smash TV are your thing then you’ll feel right at home with Nex Machina. Nex Machina is all about concentration and reflex and best of all you can play the game with a co-op buddy!
