As part of Microsoft’s big CES 2010 announcements they showed a trailer for GAME ROOM for the Xbox 360 and PC.  Trick out your arcade with awesome virtual renditions of classic arcade cabinets, complete with sound effects and graphics on the screens.  For those not old enough to remember the sights and sounds of walking through an arcade this is a fantastic addition from Microsoft.  GAME ROOM allows your colorful avatar the ability to walk around and explore the different arcade games so you can relive all the thrills of classic arcade machines.  All this sounds great but our friends over in the MAME community have already been doing this for years.  Check out the trailer for GAME ROOM from Microsoft and compare it to the famous Arcade 84 video from CinemArcade.
