Activision kicked off the start of the San Diego Comic-Con in style with a tasteful and rewarding party to showcase some of their hot upcoming titles like Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions, Transformers War for Cybertron DLC, James Bond 007: Blood Stone and more!

Most of our time spent was with James Bond 007: Blood Stone as this was just added to our gaming radar.  Blood Stone has a mix of cover/action combat on foot mixed with car chases and boat sequences.  The cover system looked smooth and we got to witness a variety of hand to hand combat ‘take-downs’ which reward the player with the special ability called ‘focus aim’.  Focus aim slows time down so you can pinpoint your gun shots more accurately.  The level design and graphics were scenic with a good deal of landscape to explore.

Hardcore James Bond fans will be happy to know that Blood Stone will include some top hollywood talent voice acting from Daniel Craig, Judi Dench and Joss Stone (who also contributed to the theme song).  Activision hasn’t given a release date yet on Blood Stone but it comes from Bizarre Creations who’ve been making a mark on the industry the last couple of years with solid titles.
