Injustice 2 was announced prior to E3 Expo 2016 as a sequel to Injustice Gods Among Us from NetherRealm Studios. Injustice 2 will feature high impact fighting once again with DC superheroes and villains duking it out like Batman, Superman, Aquaman, Supergirl, Atrocitus and Gorilla Grodd.
Injustice 2 will launch on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2017 and will feature epic cinematic story elements once again with locations spanning Metropolis through Gotham City and Atlantis.
New to the series is an introduction of upgradable armor and maybe weapons – in the trailers you can see characters modifying their armor based on the person they are fighting against and even hinting at gaining rewards from both victory and defeat.
