These days the saying should be ‘believe what you hear’ as the rumored Telltale video game Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy was confirmed during The Game Awards this week. Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy The Telltale Series will most likely blend their point-and-click adventure style of gameplay and storytelling to the Marvel Cinematic Universe although we’ll be curious to see if the story in the video game is ‘canon’ or not. Another big question is waiting to find out if anyone from the cast of the film will be voicing their counterparts as part of the Guardians of the Galaxy video game.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy The Telltale Series will release in 2017 digitally on consoles, PC and mobile devices – probably for the PS4/XBO maybe the Nintendo Switch? Telltale is listed as a partner for the Nintendo Switch so anything is possible! The teaser announcement trailer doesn’t offer much in the way of information however it feels faithful to the cinematic look put together from Writer/Director James Gunn. The Guardians of the Galaxy 2 movie will release May 5th 2017 so the Telltale game will most likely release around the same time.
