We had a full day of shooting and interviews to tackle today and for the most part things went smooth.  Hailey and I started off at the Sega booth where we interviewed developers from the upcoming games Alpha Protocol and Aliens Vs Predator.  After that we headed over to the West Hall where we got to see the gigantic and stunning Activision booth.  Only EA (their closest rival) came close to the size of the screens and displays at the booth.  Missing were the sexy booth babes and swag but bravo for no long lines and lots of things to see and play!

We did an interview with one of the producers of the Rock Band Beatles game which looks fantastic.  We got to play a couple of songs but to my surprise I was not entirely impressed.  Outside of the new colorful graphics and additional singing tracks – the game appears to just be a glorified expansion of Rock Band 2 (which is already a fun game).  Going back one more day to play more songs and see if I change my tune (get it?).

Hailey got some interviews with Sony developers on games like God of War 3 and Uncharted 2.  Both games look insanely stunning and awesome.  You really cannot take in how nice these games look and play from seeing trailers and teasers on the Internet.  We wrapped up the day shooting interviews with a handful of the Ultimate Gamer Champions (sci-fi network) like Prodigy X, Swoozie and potential candidate for season two Justin Wong.  We had very little down time as the day was full of work but after the show wrapped we headed to dinner with the guys from Activision (who are awesome) and then over to the Windows party.  Mad props to Nelson and Chris for throwing one of the cooler and hip parties of E3!

As of now I would say that these five games will be on everyone’s wish list and potentials for ‘Game of the Year’ – God of War 3, Uncharted 2, Modern Warfare 2, DJ Hero and Splinter Cell: Conviction.
