The Disney Tsum Tsum phenomenon became ‘a thing’ in 2015 with more stores carrying the products and an expansion into Marvel licenses. In 2016 Disney will start rolling out their Star Wars Tsum Tsum line which will be sold at Disney Stores and online (2/16/16) first and then will probably trickle down to other outlets like JCPenney, Target and Walmart eventually.
The Disney Tsum Tsum Star Wars premiere set consists of 12 mini characters including: Luke, Leia, Han, Darth Vader, Boba Fett, Jabba The Hutt, R2-D2, C-3PO, Stormtrooper, Yoda, Ewok and Chewbacca. Disney will also produce a large Jabba The Hutt and medium size for Stormtrooper and Darth Vader.
