Dark Souls was originally released in 2011 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC and will now get the remastered treatment in 4K on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC and be portable for the Nintendo Switch. Dark Souls Remastered is expected to release on May 25, 2018, for a suggested retail price of $39.99 (pricing for PC is still being determined).

Fans of the Dark Souls series will once again be able to explore the lands of Lordran and fight their way through thousands of evil monsters in this punishing yet rewarding game. In 2017 the Nintendo Switch saw the release of The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim and in 2018 fans of open-world fantasy RPG will be able to take advantage of playing Dark Souls on a handheld system.
