COIN-OP TV is an entertainment destination for all things VIDEO GAME and GEEK CULTURE related!  We mainly provide VIDEO content but we also make interesting PHOTOGRAPHS, write amazing ARTICLES, post game REVIEWS and cover tons of EVENTS!  We are one of the longest running (since 2004) independent outlets with a professional attitude and only our community to answer to – your feedback is always appreciated!  We thank you for your time and support – now let’s meet the hard working TEAM!

ROBERT WELKNER is COIN-OP TV’s founder, writer, host, producer and editor-in-chief. Robert launched COIN-OP TV as a way to meet and interview classic gaming experts and collectors in 2004 and now develops content that spans the entire video game industry. Over the past two years Robert has amassed a huge following around his video content for the game Skylanders with weekly episodes and walkthroughs.  Robert has a BFA in Film Production from Art Center College of Design where his short films participated in numerous film festivals with his movie ‘Pennyman’ winning an Award at Houston Worldfest.  Robert loves watching live streaming competitive gaming, going to events and playing video games. He is often an industry insider guest on numerous TV shows and podcasts and is always looking for ways to help influence the video game industry.

HAILEY BRIGHT is the host & producer for COIN-OP TV’s on-location and red carpet segments.  Hailey joined the COIN-OP TV team in 2007 as ‘chat host’ of the weekly live show and quickly started conducting interviews with video game developers and producers at events.  Hailey moved from Tennessee to Los Angeles to pursue acting and modeling – she has appeared in numerous films and modeled for a variety of clients.  Hailey’s rise to fame in the video game industry was escalated when she was named IGN’s ‘Babe of the Day’, G4TV’s ‘Hottest Women On The Web’ and BusyGamer’s ‘Gamette of the Year’ but she hasn’t let any of the fame go to her head and is friendly to everyone she meets in person or on the Internet!

MICHAEL RODRIGUEZ is COIN-OP TV’s photographer on location.  Michael quickly became one of the premiere event photographers in the Los Angeles area after relocating from San Diego.  Michael’s nickname ‘BlankLogo’ is a stab at anti-establishment and stems from the desire to create amazing images.  He is an avid gamer with the patience to attain every achievement possible in a video game or find bugs that may have slipped through the production cracks!  Michael has participated in numerous art showcases and his photographs have been featured in news, politics and cosplay blogs.

JON VENTURE is COIN-OP TV’s features writer/contributor. Jon began writing at an early age and has covered some of the biggest game releases and events of the past decade, though he still strives for the next big story. An avid fan of geek culture, Jon loves all manner of games, movies and television, and will explore even the most obscure topic if there’s fun to be had.  Jon co-founded NotFNCute.com, which currently hosts weekly gaming and entertainment podcasts and community game nights.

ALEX BAUMAN is COIN-OP TV’s features writer/contributor.  Alex is a Seattle area writer who has been covering the games industry since 2008 with three years of contributing for the Examiner.com. Alex has covered numerous events, including regular trips to PAX (Penny Arcade Expo) in Seattle.  Husband, father, and life long gamer Alex embraces his unnatural Xbox 360 obsession with vigor; sometimes sacrificing food and/or sleep for that next achievement.

BRIAN BENTLEY is COIN-OP TV’s features writer/contributor.  Brian hails from Chicago but now resides in Cincinnati, Ohio.  He’s a huge fan of RPGs and especially loves Japanese RPGs.  Brian has been writing about video games since 2009 and is proud that his wife enjoys the industry as well!  When Brian needs a break from the console he enjoys playing board games and the classic ‘Adventure’ on the Atari 2600 is still one of his favorite games of all time!

JEFFREY (CJ) STRIKE aka DEADLY CYCLONE  is COIN-OP TV’s Social Media Manager and contributor. CJ is a resident Cyclone in the state of Iowa where he works in IT. Along with duties for COIN-OP TV CJ works for THQ doing community administration and moderation for franchises like Saints Row, Homefront and Metro. He has also been an official moderator for Microsoft on Xbox.com, and writes about games here and there when he’s not so insanely busy.

You’ll usually find him playing anything from Street Fighter to Dungeon Keeper and everything in-between. Armed with a camera and a dream, he has set out to become the best gaming journalist, like no one ever was. If he isn’t gaming, you can usually find Kevin at his day job or at school getting his Journalism degree. While he had a passion for journalism, his motto will forever be “Keep on Gaming”.
