It’s just about the hottest thing on the net right now and we’ve been combing it frame by frame. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is set for release on November 13 2012, and there will no doubt be an ever growing stream of video content to keep us drooling from now until then. So lets take it slow and see what information this multiplayer video can provide:
- Primary weapon has three attachment spots, secondary has two.
- A possible six perks and four slots for equipment.
- Electrified stun… knives(?)
- Kill rewards are more prominently displayed.
- An X-ray like attachment is shown, providing the user with a ghost image of an opponent through a shipping container and smoke.
- Running dive is back after going on hiatus for MW3.
- Some kind of brain disruptor (probably a sonic device) is deployed on a bridge seemingly making it impossible for the opposition to return fire or make any sensible decision, such as: “get out the way” or “RUUUUUUN”. An unconfirmed rumor that I’m starting right now is that the sonic device also disrupts the bowels of its target(s) forcing them to fill their pants with the contents of their GI tract.
- Riot shields make a return and can be planted and used as deploy-able cover.
- They’re calling it a “walking tank”, the A.G.R walking tank in fact, but come on… that’s a friggin’ mech right?
- Tomahawk to the faaaace!
- Three mysterious slots along the bottom of the load-out screen. Most likely dealing with kill streaks, perhaps showing the player what has been accumulated.
- C4 returns as equipment and is apparently a viable alternative to grenades.
- Sky full of drones? Dive bombing drones?
- Multi team death match. Hopefully the “multi team” tag has been added to all team game types. Seems like an easy way to refresh and put a new spin on the game variants that we’re all familiar with.
