Much hype and anticipation surrounds the upcoming release of Transformers Fall of Cybertron – only a couple weeks away.  Something we heavily APPROVE here at COIN-OP TV is being able to play demos of big games (or little ones) before launch.  After all – spending money on games can get expensive and who can rely on just previews and reviews when hands-on can be so much more satisfying?

The Transformers Fall of Cybertron demo is available on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 this week – it features two single-player levels called ‘The Exodus‘ featuring Autobot Bumblebee and ‘Death from Above‘ with Decepticon Vortex.  Both levels offer about 15 minutes of gameplay and a good ‘sampling’ of what is to come from the final release.  There’s also the option to customize and jump into multiplayer with friends online – a pretty good way to stress those servers weeks before release!

Transformers Fall of Cybertron has carried over elements that worked well from the previous installments and added a hub/free roaming system along with more advanced multiplayer options.

We’ve provided some gameplay from the demo played by Robert Welkner – Transformers Fall of Cybertron is slated to release on August 21, 2012.
