Skullgirls – Review and Gameplay

Skullgirls hype has been coming for a long time and now the game is finally out and ready for you to download and play at home! Skullgirls is a 2D fighting game featuring an all female cast for the Xbox 360 (XBLA) and PlayStation 3 (PSN) and on portable systems in 2013. The game is deep and rich in character design and traits. We first got our hands on the game last summer during Anime Expo and enjoyed what we saw then again at GDC in 2012.

Skullgirls is a good representation of what a cartoon would look like if it came to life as a fighting game. The story and characters are engaging and the graphics and sound effects very ‘in your face’ whacky and silly. You can play Skullgirls many different ways by selecting either one character, two or all three and the same can be said for your opponent.

[..YouTube..] From what I read into, there isn’t (the game innovates by doing stuff like eliminating infinites with a press of a button, hold for pause, etc., yet it doesn’t have the characters’ movesets, ironic), you need to find it on the net (they have separate PDFs for each system on the site).
