International Video Game Hall of Fame & Museum launch

Posted on August 31st, 2009 in News & Events by admin

Walter Day (Twin Galaxies founder) launched the International Video Game Hall of Fame & Museum not long ago in Ottuma, Iowa.  A handful of famous video game icons were in attendance to help support the cause.  In support of Walter Day’s cause were Fatal1ty, Billy Mitchell, Todd Rogers, TriForce and Steve Sanders.  A videographer at the event caught a rare glimpse of famous gamer Billy Mitchell in a friendly game of Donkey Kong, in which he lost a man rather quickly, perhaps not wanting to set any new world records?

I am so glad they finally got that Hall of Fame opened up. Now gamers truly have a place to have their names put up for all to see.
